This weekend I ran 5 miles on Saturday at a good pace. It was my first run since Broad Street, and my legs felt good, finished in 36:22.
Then I ran this morning, 3 miles: 1ez, 1@8:00 and the last starting at 8.1 mph which is around 7:30. Then each tenth of a mile I bumped it up on mph to finish the last tenth at 9mph.
Have been thinking about registering for Scranton in October, but, if I do, then "it will be written." So I am nervous

Broad street success
So finished Broad Street in 68:31. I was going for under 70 minutes, so I am very happy with my time. All the tempo runs and intervals paid off. It was a hot run, getting up to almost 90 degrees that afternoon. The city opened up all the fire hydrants so they had sprinklers throughout the run to cool us off. A total of around 27,000 people ran it, and my time placed me around 470th. I will take top 2%.

Now what's next? I don't know.
